Fuel Rails & Injectors (MFI): Removal

  1. Relieve fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY  .
  2. Disconnect couplers from each injector. Remove fuel pressure regulator from fuel rail and disconnect fuel inlet pipe. Drain fuel from both. Remove clamp bolts and lift fuel rail out. Remove injectors from fuel rail.
