Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug TPS harness connector. Remove TPS from throttle body.
  2. To install TPS, reverse removal procedure. Adjust TPS. See ADJUSTMENTS - 1.3L DOHC article in this section. Tighten TPS mounting screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
