Fuel Rails & Injectors: Removal

  1. Remove throttle cover. Disconnect IAC and PCV hose from air intake pipe. Carefully relieve cooling system pressure. Remove water hose from air intake pipe. Unclamp A/T throttle cable and remove air intake pipe.
  2. Remove intake manifold No. 2 stiffener. Disconnect couplers from each injector. Remove fuel pressure regulator from fuel rail and drain fuel from both. Remove clamp bolts and lift fuel rail out. Remove injectors from fuel rail.
