Valve Body Assembly: Inspection

  1. Inspect each valve for free movement in its respective bore. Use crocus cloth to remove small burrs on valves.
    NOTE: DO NOT  remove sharp edges of valves as these edges perform cleaning action within bore.
  2. Inspect valve springs for distortion or collapsed coils. Replace complete valve body assembly if any part is damaged. Inspect transfer plate for dents or distortion. Replace transfer plate if necessary.
