Water Tank Pipe Assembly

CAUTION: If the engine coolant is spilled over the engine or the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emission of smoke or causing a fire.
  1. Connect the water hose.

  2. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor to the water tank pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR>INSTALLATION .
  3. Connect the water hose (A) and preheater hose (B) to the water tank pipe assembly.

  4. Set new O-rings.

  5. Install the water tank pipe assembly and the water hose as an assembly.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  6. Connect the hose heater inlet.

  7. Connect the water hose (A), water hose (B), water hose (C) and radiator inlet hose (D).

  8. Connect the connector to engine coolant temperature sensor.

  9. Install the high-pressure fuel delivery pipe assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>HIGH PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE>INSTALLATION>HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE ASSEMBLY .
  10. Install the EGR pipe. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DOTC)>EGR PIPE>INSTALLATION .
  11. Install the intake manifold assembly. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
  12. Install the generator. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>GENERATOR>INSTALLATION .
  13. Install the A/C compressor. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>COMPRESSOR>INSTALLATION .
  14. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  15. Install the fuel filler cap, and close the fuel filler lid.
  16. Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DOTC)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
