Unit Inspection (Automatic Anti-Glare Function)

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the mirror assembly inner rearview. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REARVIEW MIRROR .
  3. Apply black vinyl tape to the front light sensor (a) of the mirror assembly inner rearview removed.

  4. Check the operation when battery voltage is applied to the connector terminal.

    Terminal No. Light condition of fluorescent light Mirror surface condition
    6 (+) - 2 (-) Mirror surface is not exposed to light. No change
    6 (+) - 2 (-) Mirror surface is exposed to light. Mirror surface becomes dark.
