Power Seat Memory System
- During inspection of the power seat memory system, be careful not to catch objects in.
- Perform communication with Subaru Select Monitor with the ignition switch ON. (With the ignition switch OFF, communication cannot be established between the body integrated unit seat memory Control Module.)
- Be careful with the following items when disconnecting the ground terminal from battery sensor.
- When the seat or the mirror is moved with the engine OFF, always disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor after waiting for 60 seconds. If the ground terminal is disconnected from the battery sensor without waiting for 60 seconds, the seat recalling position may be misaligned.
- When the memory registration is performed with the ignition OFF, wait for 60 seconds, and then disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor. If the ground terminal is disconnected from the battery sensor without waiting for 60 seconds, the registration information may not be stored correctly.
- If it falls under the following cases, initialize the seat position memory Control Module.
- When the driver's seat is replaced.
- When the connector under the driver's seat is disconnected.
- When the parts of the driver's seat is replaced.
- When the seat position memory Control Module is replaced.
- When the ground terminal is removed from the battery sensor.
- When the battery is replaced.
- When the fuse is removed.
- When the accessories are installed.
