CROSSTREK Model

NOTE: Components: Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FRONT SUSPENSION .
  1. Remove the front wheels. Ref. to WHEEL AND TIRE SYSTEM>TIRE AND WHEEL>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the ball joint COMPL.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the boot of the ball joint.
    • Be careful not to damage the peripheral parts.
    1. Remove the cotter pin (A).
    2. Remove the castle nut (B).
    3. Use a ball joint puller (C) to detach the front arm assembly (D).

    4. Remove the bolt.
    5. Remove the ball joint COMPL.
