WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2023 Subaru Ascent. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION:
  • When the stereo camera has been replaced with a new part, the camera remains in a failed state until adjustment and inspection are performed.
  • When the windshield glass has been replaced, removed or installed, always perform the adjustment and inspection of the stereo camera and the heater heating and cooling fan drive test. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION .
  • Do not apply any impact to the stereo camera. Even the slightest shock will deviate the optical axis of the camera, resulting in the loss of normal operation of the camera.
  • When the stereo camera has been replaced, be sure to perform the module registration.
  1. Install the stereo camera.
    CAUTION:
    • If the lenses RH and LH are accidentally touched, or dirt or dust is accumulated on them, be sure to replace the stereo camera.
