Keyless Access CM: Removal

  1. When replacing the keyless access CM, store the [Keyless Access with Push Button Start(Collation)] customizing information. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CUSTOMIZE>OPERATION > SAVE SETTINGS / READ SETTINGS .
  2. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  3. Remove the pocket COMPL and the panel instrument passenger. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>REMOVAL>BACK PANEL .
  4. Remove the blower motor relay.

  5. Remove the keyless access control module.
    CAUTION: Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the keyless access control module terminals.
    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Release the claws using a flat tip screwdriver or similar tool wrapped with protection tape.
    3. Release the guides and remove the keyless access control module.
