Check Operation (Automatic Anti-Glare Function)
CAUTION:
- Perform the inspection indoors.
- Depending on the mirror surface direction or surrounding circumstances, mirror surface reflection may not be switched. Therefore, perform the inspection several times by changing the mirror surface direction or surrounding circumstances.
- Check the mirror assembly inner rearview operation.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and check that the indicator light illuminates and the mirror surface is bright.
- Check that the power supply of the mirror assembly inner rearview can be switched ON and OFF.
- Cover the front light sensor (e) with hand, and check that the mirror surface will switch from the bright state to the dark state by exposing the rear light sensor (a) to fluorescent light.
- Take your hand off the front light sensor (e), and check that the mirror surface will switch from the dark state to the bright state.

- Perform the inspection procedures above, and replace the mirror assembly inner rearview if defective.
