DTC B2B39: RR Door Power Window Control Module EEPROM

DTC detecting condition: 

When one of the following data cannot be read from the non-volatile memory as the CPU is reset.

Trouble symptom: 

When the power window main switch is operated, the rear right window does not work.

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [System Initialization] of [Power Window (Rear Right)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>SYSTEM INITIALIZATION .
      NOTE: Record the DTCs and FFD because they will be erased when the initialization is performed.
    3. Perform the initial setting of the power window. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>OPERATION .
    4. Operate the power window sub-switch and check that the power window (rear seat RH) operates.

    Does the power window operate normally according to switch operation?

    Yes:  Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

    No:  Go to  2.

  2. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the DTC of [Power Window (Rear Right)] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Is DTC B2B39 displayed?

    Yes:  Replace the rear regulator and motor assembly RH. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REAR REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .

    No:  Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
