DTC B1200 Driver Monitoring Control Module Out Of Operation Temperature Range
DTC detecting condition:
Detected when the temperature of the driver monitoring unit exceeds the operation range.
Trouble symptom:
The driver monitoring system does not operate.
CAUTION:
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- CHECK DTC

Set the temperature of the driver monitoring unit and its surroundings to an operation range temperature (-30 - 85 °C (-22 - 185 °F)).
Did the temperature of the driver monitoring unit and its surroundings change to within the operation temperature range (-30 - 85 °C (-22 - 185 °F))?
Yes: Check the repair. Go to 2.
No: Perform step 1 again. Go to 1.
- CHECK REPAIR

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Driver Monitor]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Wait for 2 minutes.
- Read the DTC of [Driver Monitor] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B1200 displayed? (Current code)
Yes: Replace Driver Monitoring Unit. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT .
No: Finish the diagnosis.
