Extension Case: Disassembly

  1. Remove the dust cover.

  2. Remove the extension case oil seal. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>EXTENSION CASE OIL SEAL>REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove all plugs.

  4. Remove the O-ring or gasket from each plug.
    NOTE: The gasket may remain on the extension case side.
  5. Remove the weight.
