DTC P06E9: Engine Starter Performance: Notes

DTC detecting condition:

Immediately at fault recognition

Trouble symptom:

Auto Start Stop does not operate.

CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform the last step of the basic diagnostic procedure . Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

CHECK DATA MONITOR .
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Read the data of [Start Count] using Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR .
Is the value of [Start Count] 280000 times or more?

Yes: Replace the starter and fuel pump relay at the same time. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO)>STARTER . Ref. to AUTO START STOP (DIAGNOSTICS)>ELECTRICAL COMPONENT LOCATION .

No: Replace the TCM. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION(TR580)>TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) .
