Oil Pipe: Installation

Apply engine oil to the threaded portion for mounting the union bolt on the vacuum pump and cam carrier.
Use a new gasket to temporarily attach the oil pipe.
Tighten the bolts and union bolts in the numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:

T1: 6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

T2: 20 N.m (2.0 kgf-m, 14.8 ft-lb)

Install the connector to the #1 fuel injector.

Install the fuel pipe protector RH No. 2. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR>INSTALLATION>FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR RH>FUEL PIPE PROTECTOR RH NO. 2 .
Install the ECM. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM)>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Check the engine oil level and replenish the engine oil if necessary. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DO)>ENGINE OIL>INSPECTION .
