MT Gear Shift Rod: Removal

Remove the transmission body. Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
Lift the crimped section of the clamp.

slide the clamp to remove the pin.

Remove the MT gear shift rod, cushion, and clamp.

Remove the snap pin and washer, and then remove the joint from the MT gear shift rod.

Remove the collar.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the collar.

NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.
