Outer Mirror Assembly: Installation

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
Be careful not to catch the harness in between the parts.

Install the outer mirror assembly.
1. Engage the temporary clip and temporally install the outer mirror assembly.
2. Install the bolts, and connect the connector.
  Tightening torque:
  
  7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
Install the cover cap outer mirror.
Install the sealing cover door front. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>INSTALLATION .
Install the trim panel front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
