Front Regulator and Motor Assembly: Installation

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Before installation, check the following items.
- Is the rail free from deformation?
- Is grease applied sufficiently to the motor gear service information and rail?
If grease is insufficient, add it as necessary before assembling the regulator & motor assembly front.

Preparation items:

Grease: Chassis grease or equivalent
Using the TORX® T25, install the motor assembly front.
Tightening torque:

6 N.m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.4 ft-lb)
Install the regulator & motor assembly front.
1. Temporarily install the regulator & motor assembly front using the tack bolt (a).
2. Install the bolts and nuts other than the tack bolt (a).
  Tightening torque:
  
  7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
3. Tighten the tack bolts (a).
  Tightening torque:
  
  7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
4. Connect the connector.

Install the glass assembly front door. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>FRONT DOOR GLASS>INSTALLATION>FRONT DOOR GLASS .
Adjust the glass assembly front door. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>FRONT DOOR GLASS>ADJUSTMENT .
Install the sealing cover door front. Ref. to EXTERIOR BODY PANELS>SEALING COVER>INSTALLATION .
Install the trim panel front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>INSTALLATION .
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Perform the initial setting of the power window system. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>OPERATION .
