Operation Procedure B
NOTE:
- The illustration shows the LH side.
- Simple calibration is performed with the ST placed at the position as shown below.
| (a) | 1, 000 mm (3.28ft) |
| (b) | Same distance |
- Install ST.CAUTION:
- Handle ST carefully so as not to break it.
- If light reflects at ST, simple calibration on the center information display cannot be performed correctly. Therefore, be careful so that light does not reflect during operation.
- Using the plumb bob with leveling line, affix the packing tape at the locations where the plumb bob touches the ground from the fender arch through the center of the front/rear wheels and make a marking on the tape at the point A and point B.CAUTION:
- Positioning accuracy of the measure shall be ±2 mm (±0.08 in) or less.
- Centering accuracy of the plumb bob shall be ±4 mm (±0.16 in) or less.
(A) ±4 mm (±0.16 in) (B) Front/rear wheel center lines (leveling lines) (C) Plumb bob (D) Points A and B - Measure the distance from the marked Point A to Point B, and temporarily place the ST approx. 1 m (3.28ft) away from the vehicle.
- Using a measure, affix the masking tape at the position in the same distance measured in step (2) as a mark, based on the intersection point of the ST reference line (for side view cameras) and the ST guide line on the vehicle side.
(A) Point A (B) Point B (C) Distance from Point A to Point B (D) ST guide line on the vehicle side (E) ST reference line (for side view camera) (F) Measure (G) ST guide line (H) Point of intersection (I) Mark - Stretch a measure from the front wheel side of the vehicle and align the 1, 000 mm (3.28ft) mark with the ST reference line (for side view cameras) and the intersection point. Then secure it with masking tape or the like.
- Stretch a measure from the rear wheel side of the vehicle and set the 1, 000 mm (3.28ft) mark at a right angle to the ST guide line and the marked position. Then secure it with masking tape or the like.
- Align the 0 mm (0 in) mark in each measure with the point A and point B as shown in the figure.CAUTION: Set the ST, keeping it from becoming wrinkled.
(A) Point A (B) Point B (C) ST guide line on the vehicle side (D) Measure (E) ST guide line (F) ST reference line (for side view camera) (G) Point of intersection (H) Mark - After securing the ST so that it does not move, remove the masking tape and remove the measure.

ST: TARGET CHART (86399XC000)
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, select [Simple calibration] for the targeted camera in [Work Support] of [Front&Side Camera/Multi View Monitor]. Ref. to 360-DEGREE SURROUND VIEW MONITOR/MULTI VIEW MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT
- [Parameter Application & Decision] screen is displayed, and the image of the simple calibration appears on the center information display.
- On the [Parameter Application & Decision] screen, adjust so that the red line is aligned with the ST guide line, and press [OK].NOTE: Use + (plus) or - (minus) to adjust each item.
- Perform visual check again. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>CAMERA>ADJUSTMENT>VISUAL CHECK .NOTE: If the procedure is not completed by adjusting the replaced camera, adjust the adjacent camera.
