DTC B16F2: Front Sub Sensor RH Recognition Error

Diagnosis start condition:

When the ignition voltage is 10 - 16 V.

DTC detecting condition:

The front impact sensor RH is installed incorrectly.
The airbag control module is installed incorrectly.

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

CHECK THE FRONT IMPACT SENSOR RH .
Check the part number printed on the sensor. Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>IMPACT SENSOR>REMOVAL .

Is the part number correct?

Yes: Replace the airbag control module. Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>AIRBAG CONTROL MODULE>REMOVAL .

No: Replace with a genuine sensor.
