Instrument Panel Assembly: Disassembly

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Remove the EyeSight assist monitor. Ref. to EYESIGHT>EYESIGHT ASSIST MONITOR>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the panel sunload sensor and the grille front defroster.
    1. Release the clips.
    2. Disconnect each connector, and remove the panel sunload sensor and the grille front defroster.

  3. Remove the screws, and remove the duct side ventilation, the insulator instrument and the duct center ventilation front.

  4. Remove the nozzle front defroster assembly.
    1. Remove the cushion instrument.
    2. Release the screws and clips, then detach the nozzle front defroster assembly.

  5. Release the clamps and remove the cord assembly instrument.

  6. Release the clamps and remove the feeder cord instrument.

  7. Remove the screws, and remove the duct side defroster and the insulator instrument.

  8. Remove the duct grille ventilation side and the reinforce center UPR.
    1. Release the clips, and detach the duct grille ventilation side.
    2. Remove the screw release the claw and remove the reinforcement center UPR.

  9. Remove the tapping screws and release the claws, and remove the passenger's airbag module.

  10. Remove the reinforce instrument side.

  11. Remove the bracket speaker, the grille defroster side and the cover assembly instrument panel side UPR.
    1. Remove the screws and release the claws, then detach the bracket speaker.
    2. Release the clips, and then remove the grille defroster side.
    3. Remove the screws and release the claws, and remove the cover assembly instrument panel side UPR.

  12. Remove the bracket CTR UPR and the bracket LWR passenger as required.
