Wide Angle Mono Camera: Installation

CAUTION:
  • When the wide angle mono camera has been replaced with a new part, the camera remains in a failed state until adjustment and inspection are performed.
  • When the wide angle mono camera, lens hood assembly, or windshield glass has been replaced or removed/reinstalled, always perform the adjustment and inspection of the wide angle mono camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION .
  • Do not apply any impact to the wide angle mono camera. Even the slightest shock will deviate the optical axis of the camera, resulting in the loss of normal operation of the camera.
  • When the wide angle mono camera has been replaced, be sure to perform the module registration.
  1. Install the wide angle mono camera.
    CAUTION:
    • Avoid hitting the wide angle mono camera.
    • Do not touch the lens. If they are accidentally touched, or dirt or dust is accumulated on them, be sure to replace the wide angle mono camera.

    1. Enter the passenger room, and remove the protective sheet or the dust-free paper such as copy paper from the wide angle mono camera.
      CAUTION: Do not remove it until immediately before installing the wide angle mono camera.
    2. Slowly push in the guides against the front clips and holder to install the wide angle mono camera.
      CAUTION:
      • Do not apply any impact to the wide angle mono camera by letting it contact the adjacent parts.
      • While being careful not to let the harness and others caught, check that the clips and holder are engaged with the guides securely.

    3. Connect the connector.
  2. Install the cover assembly wide angle mono camera.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not apply any impact to the wide angle mono camera.
    • Install precisely so that it will not block the visibility of the wide angle mono camera.
  3. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  4. When the wide angle mono camera has been replaced, perform the module registration. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>UNIT REGISTRATION>OPERATION .
  5. Perform the adjustment or inspection of the wide angle mono camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION .
