DTC B2481: Wide Angle Mono Camera Optical Axis Misalignment

DTC detecting condition: 

Camera misorientation or misalignment is detected.

Trouble symptom: 

• Pre-collision braking determined by the Wide angle mono camera is not activated.
• Warning light ON.

1. BASIC INSPECTION  .

   Before performing the diagnosis, perform basic inspection. Ref. to WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>INSPECTION .

   NOTE:

   • Check the battery and its installation condition.
   • Check the related fuse.
   • Visually check that the related connectors are properly connected.

     Also, check the related ground terminal for looseness and corrosion.

   Is the check result OK?

   Yes:  Go to  2.

   No:  Repair the defective part.

2. CHECK Wide angle mono camera INSTALLATION CONDITION  .

   Check that Wide angle mono camera is installed properly. Ref. to EYESIGHT>WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA>INSTALLATION .

   NOTE: Malfunction may be detected if the Wide angle mono camera is not installed properly.

   Is the check result OK?

   Yes:  Go to  3.

   No:  After proper installation, Go to  3.

3. READJUST Wide angle mono camera  .

   Perform optical axis adjustment for Wide angle mono camera according to the optical axis adjustment procedures for "Readjust Wide angle mono camera". Ref. to EYESIGHT>WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION>PROCEDURE .

   Is it completed properly?

   Yes:  Go to  4.

   No:  Replace Wide angle mono camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA .

   After replacement, Go to  4.

4. CHECK REPAIR  .
   1. Perform the inspection mode corresponding to DTC. Ref. to WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA (DIAGNOSTICS)>INSPECTION MODE>PROCEDURE .
   2. Confirm that DTC or cancel code is not stored and the malfunction is eliminated.

   Is the check result OK?

   Yes:  Finish the diagnosis.

   No:  Perform the diagnosis according to the basic diagnostic procedure. Ref. to WIDE ANGLE MONO CAMERA (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
