DTC B281E: RAB Control Module

DTC detecting condition:

Defective RAB control module.
Defective sonar sensor.
Defective unit that is cooperatively controlled with stereo camera.

Trouble symptom:

The Reverse Automatic Braking does not operate.

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

CHECK DTCS (DETERMINING A FAILURE OF COOPERATIVE CONTROL UNIT) .
Read the DTC of [EyeSight] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Is any DTC other than DTC B281E displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis of DTCs other than B281E. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

No : Check the Reverse Automatic Braking. Ref. to REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
