Extension Case: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 (EXCEPT FOR WILDERNESS))>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the electric oil pump. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 (EXCEPT FOR WILDERNESS))>ELECTRIC FLUID PUMP>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the extension case and transmission hanger (A).

  4. Remove the O-ring from the transmission case.

  5. Remove the liquid gasket from the extension case and the transmission case.
