Fuel Tank: Disassembly

  1. Remove the hoses from the fuel tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>FUEL TANK 1 .
  2. Remove the protector and insulator from the fuel tank.
    NOTE: Remove if necessary.
    1. Remove the clip (A) and remove the protector (B).

    2. Remove the upper insulator (B) from the insulator holder (A).
    3. Remove the lower insulator (C) from the fuel tank.

    4. Remove the insulator holder (A) from the lower insulator (C).
  3. Remove the fuel pump. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO (HEV))>FUEL PUMP>REMOVAL .
