Precaution For HV Battery: Notes
CAUTION:
High voltage is extremely dangerous. If mishandled, serious burn injury or electric shock may occur, resulting in fire, personal death or severe injury.
When performing diagnosis or parts replacement that requires access to the inside of HV battery, be sure to obserye the following.
When performing diagnosis or parts replacement that requires access to the inside of HV battery, be sure to obserye the following.
- Clean the luggage compartment using air to eliminate dust, dirt, foreign matter, etc.
- Wear clean work clothes and protective equipment. Always clean using air.
- To prevent foreign objects from entering inside, cover the top surface of openings with clean insulated sheets.
- Visually check that no foreign objects enter or adhere to the inside of HV battery and seryice parts before performing work and assembly.
- Be sure to collect the HV batteries that are no longer needed due to replacement or other reasons, according to the instructions described on the warning label, through the route specified by the manufacturer.CAUTION:
- If HV battery is not properly processed and disposed of or left unprocessed, it could cause electrical shock accidents. Be sure to collect the HV batteries through the route specified by the manufacturer.
- Do not leave the removed HV batteries in a place where water may splash, because generated heat may cause fire.
