Diagnostics with Phenomenon: Inspection
- EyeSight is canceled due to TCM abnormality. However, DTC of TCM is not detected sometimes.
- When "DTC B2801 TCM ABNORMAL" is detected, perform the following diagnosis.
- CHECK AT OIL TEMP LIGHT
.
Check the AT OIL TEMP light.
Does the AT OIL TEMP light illuminate?
Yes: ATF oil temperature is high. Therefore, wait until the oil temperature decreases, and then check again.
No: Go to 2.
- CHECK DTC
.
Read the DTC of [Transmission] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current or past)
Yes: Perform the diagnosis according to the DTC. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST .
No: Go to 3.
- CHECK DTC

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read a pending code in [Transmission]. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is a pending code displayed?
Yes: Go to 4.
No: Perform the road test. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>ROAD TEST .
- PERFORM INSPECTION MODE

Perform inspection mode of the pending code displayed in step 3. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>INSPECTION MODE .
Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes: Perform the diagnosis according to the DTC. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST .
No: Currently, it is normal.
