Third Seat: Installation

  1. Install the third-row seat assembly.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage the vehicle when bringing the seat in the vehicle.
    • Third-row seats are heavy. When removing and installing them, always work in a team of two or more persons.
    • After installing the third-row seat, check the following items.
      • Each seat belt operates properly.
      • No harnesses are caught anywhere.
      • Each seat moves smoothly in reclining and folding down mechanism.

    Tightening torque: 

    Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description" for the tightening torque. Ref. to SEATS>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>THIRD-ROW SEAT .

  2. Connect the seating sensor connector.
  3. Install the cover bolt third front.
  4. Install the floor mat side, floor mat center, and box sub-trunk assembly.
  5. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
