Operation Procedure B
NOTE:
The illustration shows the LH side.
- Draw the reference lines of the center of the front/rear wheels.
- Using the plumb bob with leveling line, affix the packing tape at the locations where the plumb bob touches the ground from the center of the front/rear wheels and make a marking on the tape at the point C and point D.CAUTION:
- Positioning accuracy of the measure shall be ±2 mm (±0.08 in) or less.
- Centering accuracy of the plumb bob shall be ±4 mm (±0.16 in) or less.
(a) ±4 mm (±0.16 in) (b) Front/rear wheel center lines (leveling lines) (c) Plumb bob (d) Points C and D - Strain approximately 1, 500 mm (4.92 ft) leveling line from the marking points C and D perpendicular to the packing tape (target), and temporarily fix it with packing tape.NOTE: Confirm that there is no wet condition or unevenness on the floor, to strain the leveling line correctly.
- Mark the position 1, 000 mm (3.28 ft) away from points C and D of the front/rear wheel center lines (leveling lines).
(a) Front wheel center line (leveling line) (b) Rear wheel center line (leveling line) (c) Point C (d) Point D (e) About 1, 500 mm (4.92 ft) (f) 1, 000 mm (3.28 ft) (g) Mark - Using the plumb bob with leveling line, affix the packing tape at the locations where the plumb bob touches the ground from the center of the front/rear wheels and make a marking on the tape at the point C and point D.
- Install ST.CAUTION:
- Handle ST carefully so as not to break it.
- If light reflects at ST, simple calibration on the center information display cannot be performed correctly. Therefore, be careful so that light does not reflect during operation.
Preparation tool:
ST: TARGET CHART (86399XC000)
- Place ST under the front/rear wheel center lines (leveling lines).
- As shown in the figure, align ST reference line (for side view camera) with the front wheel center line (leveling line). Align ST guide lines on the vehicle side with the marks of the front/rear wheel center lines (leveling lines), and set ST on the side view camera.
(a) Front wheel center line (leveling line) (b) Rear wheel center line (leveling line) (c) ST reference line (for side view camera) (d) ST guide line (e) ST guide line on the vehicle side (f) Mark - Using the Subaru Select Monitor, select [Simple calibration] for the targeted camera in [Work Support] of [Front & Side Camera/Multi View Monitor]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION .
- [Parameter Application & Decision] screen is displayed, and the image of the simple calibration appears on the center information display.
- On the [Parameter Application & Decision] screen, adjust so that the red line is aligned with the ST guide line, and press [OK].NOTE: Use + (plus) or - (minus) to adjust each item.
- Perform visual check again. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>CAMERA>ADJUSTMENT>VISUAL CHECK .NOTE: If the procedure is not completed by adjusting the replaced camera, adjust the adjacent camera.
