Master Cylinder: Removal

CAUTION:

Do not let clutch fluid come into contact with the painted surface of the vehicle.
Wash away with water immediately and wipe off if it is spilled by accident.
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION

NOTE:

The master cylinder cannot be disassembled.

Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
Remove the clutch pedal. Ref. to BRAKE>BRAKE PEDAL>REMOVAL
Remove the clip and clevis pin A, and then disconnect the clutch pedal and the master cylinder.

Disconnect the clutch pipe C and clutch pipe D from the master cylinder.

Remove the master cylinder.

Separate the master cylinder and the push rod.
