M/T Clutch System: Flywheel: Removal

CAUTION:

Do not wash the pilot bearing since it is filled with grease. 

  1. Remove the transmission body. Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (TY75)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL
  2. Remove the clutch cover and clutch disc. Ref. to CLUTCH SYSTEM>CLUTCH DISC AND COVER>REMOVAL 
  3. Using the ST, fasten the flywheel.
    NOTE:

    Use bolts with M8 x P1.25 and a bolt length of approx. 15 mm for securing ST and the flywheel. 

    Preparation tool: 

    ST: CRANKSHAFT STOPPER (498497100)

  4. Remove the flywheel and crankshaft position sensor plate.

  5. Remove ST (CRANKSHAFT STOPPER).
  6. Drive out the pilot bearing.
    NOTE:

    Perform this procedure only when required.
