Oil Catch Tank: Installation

  1. Use a new gasket to temporarily attach the oil catch tank.
  2. Tighten the bolts in the numerical order as shown in the figure.

    Tightening torque: 

    T1: 6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb) 

    T2: 10.5 N.m (1.1 kgf-m, 7.7 ft-lb)

  3. Install a new engine oil hose and attach the clip to the hose stay.

  4. Install the under cover front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>INSTALLATION
  5. Connect the PCV hose assembly No. 2 to the PCV hose assembly No. 1.
    NOTE:

    Make sure that the blow-by diagnosis connector is connected securely.

  6. Install the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>AIR INTAKE DUCT>INSTALLATION 
  7. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
  8. Check the engine oil level and replenish the engine oil if necessary. Ref. to LUBRICATION (H4DOTC)>ENGINE OIL>INSPECTION
