Parking Brake Lever: Installation
- Install the lever assembly hand brake.
Tightening torque:
18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)
- Apply grease to the tooth face of the lever assembly hand brake.
Preparation items:
Grease: NIPPON GREASE NIGTIGHT LTS No. 2 or equivalent
- Apply grease to the sliding area of the inner cable end.
Preparation items:
Grease: NIPPON GREASE Spray Grease G2272 or equivalent
- Install the inner cable end to equalizer.
- Install a new flange lock nut.
- Connect the connector of the switch assembly hand brake.
- Adjust the parking brake. Ref. to PARKING BRAKE>PARKING BRAKE ASSEMBLY (REAR DISC BRAKE)>ADJUSTMENT .
- Install the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
