Rear Seat: Installation
CAUTION:
- Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- Side impact sensor (under the rear center seat) for the airbag system is located under the front center of the rear seat cushion. Be careful not to apply strong impact to the sensor when working with the rear seat cushion removed.
- Install the striker backrest.
Tightening torque:
33 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb)
- Install the trim panel assembly rear shelf. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR SHELF TRIM>INSTALLATION
- Install the hook BRKT rear seat cushion.
Tightening torque:
33 N.m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb)
- Install the trim panel assembly C pillar and the trim panel assembly C pillar LWR. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR QUARTER TRIM>INSTALLATION
- Install the backrest assembly RH and LH.NOTE:
- After installing the backrest assembly, make sure that each seat belt operates normally.
- Make sure that they are properly secured on each hook on the vehicle side.
Tightening torque:
Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description" for the tightening torque. Ref. to SEATS>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT>REAR SEAT
- Install the spacer rear floor side, spacer center and mat trunk.
- Install the rear seat cushion assembly.CAUTION:
Check routing of each buckle of the seat belt.
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
