Rear Exhaust Pipe: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the center exhaust cover.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  2. Apply a coat of spray type lubricant to the mating area of cushion rubber.
  3. Install the cushion rubber.
    NOTE:

    There are two types of cushion rubber shapes. If the cushion rubber of the muffler is removed at the same time, be careful not to mix them up. Ref. to EXHAUST(H4DOTC)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>COMPONENT > REAR EXHAUST PIPE AND MUFFLER .

  4. Install the rear exhaust pipe.
    NOTE:

    After installation, degrease the cushion rubber.

  5. Using a new gasket, connect the center exhaust pipe (rear) and the rear exhaust pipe.

    Tightening torque: 

    18 N.m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.3 ft-lb)

  6. Install the muffler. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DOTC)>MUFFLER>INSTALLATION .
