Execution Condition

Secondary parameters Execution condition
Diagnosis 1 
12 V battery system voltage (The timer is held when the following conditions are not satisfied.) 10 V or more
Transmission range Drive
Vehicle speed (calculated from measured secondary pulley shaft speed sensor) 21.7 MPH or more
Diagnosis 2 
12 V battery system voltage 10 V or more
Soak time (received from ECM) 21600 s or more
(Engine speed for time) 400 rpm or more 300 s or more
NOTE:

The monitor detects Transmission fluid temperature sensor stuck high after the elapse of 300 seconds required for Engine coolant temperature sensor diagnosis. It is necessary to avoid misdiagnosis of P0711 caused by a malfunctioning ECT sensor.
