Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation
CAUTION:
- Be careful not to damage the sensor.
- Do not apply excessive force to the sensor harness.
- Install the rear ABS wheel speed sensor.NOTE:
Check the identification (mark) on the harness to make sure there is no warpage. Ref. to VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL (VDC)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>SPECIFICATION .
Tightening torque:
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the rear wheels.
Tightening torque:
120 N.m (12.2 kgf-m, 88.5 ft-lb)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
NOTE:
For the hybrid model, connect the battery negative terminal.
