Inspection Mode I

Diagnostic procedure:

1. Start the engine with the select lever in "N" or "P" range.
2. Set ATF temperature to 60 - 80°C (140 - 176°F).
   NOTE:

   Check the ATF temperature using the Subaru Select Monitor  .

3. Stop the engine and leave it for three minutes or more.
4. Turn the ignition switch to ON (engine OFF).
5. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read and record the value in [secondary pressure sensor voltage.] in the [Data Monitor] of [Transmission]. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS) (CROSSTREK MODEL)>DATA MONITOR .
   NOTE:

   This voltage is "A". 

6. Start the engine.
7. Shift the select lever to "D" range and set the vehicle to the Auto Start Stop status by Auto Start Stop function.
   NOTE:

   At this time, check that the engine is stopped, securely make sure that the electric oil pump is rotating with operating sound  .

8. After stopping the engine, leave it for five seconds or more, read [secondary pressure sensor voltage.] in the [Data Monitor] of [Transmission] using the Subaru Select Monitor during Auto Start Stop and record it when the hydraulic pressure stabilizes. Ref. to TRANSMISSION (DIAGNOSTICS) (CROSSTREK MODEL)>DATA MONITOR .
   NOTE:

   This voltage is "B". 

9. Calculate the voltage difference between the A/D value measured when the electric oil pump is in operation and the one measured when in halt condition.

   Voltage difference (V): 0.045 V or more V = B - A
