Rear Planetary Gear: Disassembly

Remove the front thrust bearing race, thrust needle roller bearing, and rear thrust bearing race.

(D)	Rear thrust bearing race

Check the rear planetary gear.

Measure the pinion gear thrust clearance "C" using a thickness gauge.

Specification:

0.2 - 0.6 mm (0.01 - 0.02 in)

Using a caliper gauge, measure the rear planetary gear inner diameter.

Specification:

18.025 mm (0.7096 in)

If the thrust clearance or the inner diameter exceeds the specification, replace with a new rear planetary gear.
