Transmission Gear Oil: Replacement

CAUTION: Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.

Remove the under cover front and the under cover COMPL front T/M. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>REMOVAL .
Remove the filler plug (A).
Remove the drain plug (B) and drain the transmission gear oil.
Use a new gasket to install the drain plug (B).
Tightening torque:

37 N.m (3.8 kgf-m, 27.3 ft-lb)

Fill the transmission gear oil to the bottom of the filler plug hole.
NOTE: Fill the transmission gear oil until it flows out of the filler plug hole and wait for the outflow to stop.

Preparation items:

Transmission gear oil: Ref. to MANUAL TRANSMISSION>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>SPECIFICATION>TRANSMISSION GEAR OIL
Using a new gasket, install the filler plug (A).
Tightening torque:

37 N.m (3.8 kgf-m, 27.3 ft-lb)
