Rear Planetary Gear: Installation
- Install the thrust needle roller bearing.NOTE: Make sure to install the thrust needle roller bearing in the right direction.
(A) Oil pump side (B) Thrust needle roller bearing (C) Transmission case - Install the rear planetary gear.
(A) Rear planetary gear (B) Transmission case - Check the No. 4 brake pack clearance.
- Measure height "H" from the brake apply tube (A) upper face to the No. 4 brake flange (B) mounting surface.NOTE:
- Measure at four points at 90° intervals and calculate the average.
- If the value is outside the specification, check the 1st & reverse brake piston.
Specification:
- 23.32 - 24.18 mm (0.918 - 0.952 in)
- Using the following calculation, calculate pack clearance "C".
