Oil Pan: Removal
CAUTION:
- Vehicle components are extremely hot immediately after driving. Be wary of receiving burns from heated parts.
- If any ATF adheres to the exhaust pipe, completely wipe it off to avoid emitting smoke and causing a fire.
- Remove the center exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO)>CENTER EXHAUST PIPE>REMOVAL .
- Drain the ATF. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID>REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the oil pan.
- Remove magnet (A).NOTE: Remove the iron powder from the magnet.
- Remove the oil strainer.NOTE: Perform this procedure only when required.
- Remove the O-rings.
