Front Planetary Ring Gear: Disassembly

  1. Remove the front planetary ring gear.
    1. Using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped with protection tape, remove the snap ring.
      CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the front planetary ring gear.

    2. Remove the front planetary ring gear from the center planetary ring gear.
  2. Remove the front planetary ring gear flange.
    1. Using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped with protection tape, remove the snap ring.
      CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the center planetary ring gear.

    2. Remove the front planetary ring gear flange from the center planetary ring gear.
