Front Hood Opener

Before installation, check the following items.
- Cable is free from deformation such as fray.
- Grease is applied sufficiently to cable joints.
If grease is insufficient, add it as necessary before assembling the cable.
Install the lever to the bracket lever.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf.m, 5.5 ft.lb)
Install the cable assembly front hood.
NOTE: Tie and pull the string attached to the body into the vehicle to install the cable clip and cable assembly front hood.
Install the bracket opener handle.
Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf.m, 5.5 ft.lb)
Install the mud guard front LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Mud Guard>INSTALLATION .
Install the bracket grille front.
Install the air intake duct.
Install the cover LWR driver.
Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
