Console Box: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:
    • Shift the select lever into "N" before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor  .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor  .
  2. Remove the cover assembly front.
    CAUTION: Remove the mat center tray together with the cover assembly front  .

    Removing the mat center tray first may damage the parts  .

    1. Release the clips, and detach the cover assembly front.

    2. Disconnect the harness connector.
    3. Release the clips and detach the mat center tray.
  3. Remove the console box assembly.
    1. Remove the caps and remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the screws and release the clip.
    3. Disconnect the harness connector, and remove the console box assembly.

  4. Disassemble the cover assembly front and the console box assembly as required.
