Diagnostic procedure:
- Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Refer to HVAC SYSTEM (AUTO A/C) (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY MODE .
- Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed. Refer to HVAC SYSTEM (AUTO A/C) (DIAGNOSTICS)>READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1.
- Park the vehicle in the place subjected to direct sunlight.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON and then leave it for 4 seconds or more.
- Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed.
NOTE:
If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs.
