Back-up Light Switch: Inspection

- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Remove the intercooler. Refer to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (STI)>INTERCOOLER>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the transmission harness and chassis harness.
- Measure the resistance between the back-up light switch terminals. If it is not within the specification, replace the back-up light switch.
Gear shift position Terminal No. Standard Back position 3 and 6 Less than 1 Ω Other positions 1 MΩ or more
