PCV Hose Assembly: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Do not remove unless the hose and the leak diagnosis connector are broken.
  1. Remove the engine from the vehicle. Refer to MECHANICAL(STI)>ENGINE ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (STI)>INTAKE MANIFOLD>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the bolt securing the water tank pipe assembly, and place the water tank pipe assembly aside so that it does not interfere with the work.
  4. Remove the water pipe assembly.
    NOTE: Do not remove the radiator inlet hose and heater outlet hose.

  5. Remove the secondary air pipe RH. Refer to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (STI)>SECONDARY AIR COMBINATION VALVE>REMOVAL>SECONDARY AIR COMBINATION VALVE RH .
  6. Break the clamp, and remove the PCV hose assembly from the cylinder block RH.
